I've noticed a pattern while looking at early-stage tech products:
Many founders spend months building something technically impressive, but their visual identity often doesn't communicate the same level of quality.
The problem isn't that the product is bad.
The problem is that trust is created before people ever try the product.
A landing page, logo, typography and visual system become signals:
"Is this product serious?"
"Can I trust this company?"
"Does this feel ready?"
I'm exploring this problem with CAMCORP: helping technical founders build brands that match the quality of what they're building.
Curious: what's the biggest challenge you've faced when communicating your product's value?
I agree that trust is formed before someone signs up. One distinction I'd keep testing is whether the visual identity is creating trust on its own, or simply making it easier for the product's value to be believed. Those aren't always the same problem.
