One thing that really reinforced this was seeing experienced blacksmiths choose forged hardware for their own homes. That was a stronger signal than any marketing claim.

It reminded me that customers don't always pay more for a product—they pay for durability, craftsmanship, and the confidence that they won't need to replace it a few years later.
