Why I built a privacy-first vCard QR code generator

I built vCard QR Code Generator after noticing that most QR tools make simple contact sharing feel heavier than it needs to be.

For the basic use case, people just want to put their contact details on a business card, email signature, event badge, or flyer. That should not require an account, a monthly subscription, or sending personal contact data to a server. So the free static generator runs directly in the browser.

The newer dynamic QR feature solves a different problem: printed QR codes go stale. A business card may outlive a job title. A flyer may outlive a campaign URL. A menu, sign, or event asset may need updates after printing. Dynamic QR codes let the printed code stay the same while the destination can be edited later.

I am keeping the product deliberately simple: free static vCard QR codes for permanent contact details, and dynamic QR codes for printed assets that need flexibility.
