Why I Built a Simple Cook Out Menu Resource for Fast Food Fans

As someone who enjoys side projects and small web tools, I recently decided to build a basic but helpful site focused on one of the most beloved fast food chains in the Southeastern U.S.—Cook Out.

If you’ve ever been to Cook Out, you know how massive and overwhelming their menu can be. From burgers and BBQ to over 40 milkshake flavors, it’s easy to miss out on great combinations or end up second-guessing your order at the counter.

That’s where the idea came in: I created a clean, mobile-friendly resource that breaks down the full Cook Out menu—including trays, sides, drinks, and even hours of operation. It’s meant for new customers, fans, and anyone who wants to plan their order ahead of time or just get inspired for their next visit.

The site is live at: https://thecookoutmenus.us/

While it’s a small niche project, it’s been a fun way to practice design, content curation, and SEO—while also creating something genuinely useful for a growing audience.

Would love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or ideas for expansion (maybe a community-driven menu review section?). Open to collabs or contributions too.
