Why I Built AI Logic Into AdaptiFit Workouts

Most fitness apps give you a fixed routine. That works great — until life (or an injury) happens.

With AdaptiFit, I wanted to design AI logic that thinks like a coach:

  • It doesn’t just throw random corrective exercises on top of your plan.

  • It integrates injury-specific drills directly into your warm-up, main lifts, and cooldown.

  • If you’re injured, it avoids contraindicated movements and swaps them for safe substitutions automatically.

  • It makes sure every session still feels complete, not like a rehab checklist.

The goal isn’t to replace a coach, but to give anyone a smarter, safer default plan — one that keeps you progressing while also addressing what’s holding you back.

I’d love to hear from you:

  1. Do you see value in this kind of built-in injury-awareness, or do you think most users just want the “do this workout” simplicity?

  2. Where do you think AI coaching adds the most value: workouts, nutrition, or injury prevention?
