For a long time, I noticed the same problem in my freelance workflow:
I was spending more time searching for opportunities than actually working.
Every day I had to browse multiple platforms, read dozens of project descriptions, compare budgets, filter irrelevant jobs, and manually decide which opportunities were worth pursuing.
The process was repetitive, time-consuming, and difficult to scale.
That frustration became the starting point for FreelanceForge.
The goal wasn't to create another freelance marketplace.
Instead, I wanted to build a system that automatically:
Collects opportunities from multiple platforms
Filters them using AI
Ranks them by relevance
Delivers the best matches directly through Telegram
Reduces the amount of manual searching required every day
One of the biggest lessons so far is that automation isn't only about saving time.
It's about reducing decision fatigue.
When hundreds of opportunities are available, finding the right ones becomes a problem of filtering rather than access.
I'm currently continuing to improve:
AI-based project ranking
Opportunity filtering
Multi-platform integration
User customization
Self-hosted deployment
Still early, but it's exciting to see the idea evolve from a personal frustration into a working product.
