Most AI resume tools start by rewriting. I wanted to start one step earlier: establishing what is actually true.
MyBestResume reads an existing resume, separates verified facts from AI inferences and missing context, and maps real experience to a target role before generating anything. The goal is a stronger ATS-friendly resume without invented achievements.
The product also includes model-specific workflows and practical guidance for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek. Different models have different strengths, so the experience is designed around transparent AI assistance rather than a black box.
I’m building this as a solo, self-funded founder. I’d love feedback from other indie hackers—especially on where AI resume tools still feel untrustworthy or generic.
I like the decision to treat evidence as the input rather than the output.
A lot of AI tools optimize for producing something that sounds convincing. Starting with what's actually supported changes the role of the AI from author to interpreter, which feels like a much stronger foundation for a product where trust matters.
