Why I built another AI directory in 2026 (and my pSEO automation stack)

Let’s be real: The world doesn't need another AI directory.

The "Golden Age" of flipping generic AI wrappers is over. Most directories today are ghost towns—either bloated with dead links or just clones of each other. I knew this going in, but I still spent the last two weeks building https://seekaitool.com/.

Why? Because I’m betting on hyper-niche curation and Programmatic SEO (pSEO) to win the long game.

The Problem with "Everything" Directories
Most directories try to rank for "Best AI Tools." Good luck outranking the giants with 90+ Domain Authority. My strategy with SeekAI is different: I’m targeting the "lonely" long-tail keywords that the big players ignore.

My "Zero-Touch" Curation Stack
I don't manually add tools. I built a workflow that handles the heavy lifting so I can focus on growth:

Discovery: A Python script monitors GitHub trending and Product Hunt API for specific keywords.

Contextual Rewrite: Instead of copying descriptions (which kills SEO), I use a local LLM to rewrite descriptions specifically for "problem-solving" intent.

The pSEO Engine: I’m building out dynamic landing pages for "AI tools for [Very Specific Micro-Niche]." This creates a wide net for Google to crawl without me writing 500 individual blog posts.

The Setup & Costs
I’m keeping this lean. Since this is a fresh launch, I’m focused on structure over scale:

Build Time: 14 days (mostly tweaking the automation script).

Tech Stack: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Supabase.

Current Inventory: ~150 hand-picked (but auto-processed) tools.

Monthly Burn: $0 (Vercel hobby tier + Supabase free tier).

The "Unfair Advantage"
Most AI directories are ugly. I focused on a minimalist, high-speed UI. If a user can't find what they need in two clicks, they leave. SeekAI Tool is designed to be a utility, not a news site.

Next Steps & Feedback
The site is live, but the "Early Stage" struggle is real. I’m currently debating the best way to get that initial traction without spending a dime on ads.

I’d love your honest feedback on two things:

The Landing Page: Is the value proposition clear within 3 seconds, or does it just look like "another list"?

Monetization: For a new niche directory, should I focus on "Pay-to-Play" featured slots early on, or keep it 100% organic and aim for affiliate revenue once the traffic hits a certain threshold?

Drop your thoughts below. I'm an open book.

Hi everyone! I see many people are looking for honest reviews, so I'll share mine. I always read forums before trying a new casino, but I've realized it's better to try it out for yourself. I have my own checklist: website usability, game speed, bonuses, and, of course, withdrawals. Without the latter, there's no point in playing. Recently, I decided to test a platform that hasn't been widely reviewed. At first, I thought it was just another site, but I was pleasantly surprised. Here's the link:

If anyone is looking for a new option, you can give it a try. I've left it as my default for now. The games run smoothly, and nothing freezes. The bonuses seem reasonable, with no strange conditions. But the main thing is the withdrawals. I made a test withdrawal and didn't encounter any problems.

"Focusing on micro-niches over general AI lists is the only way to win in directories right now—utility over news is a solid pivot.Nice idea, this could be a good way to test it. There’s a competition where you can submit it — entry is $19 and winner gets a Tokyo trip.Prize pool just opened at $0 so your odds are the best right now."
