Why I built Fluenta — after ChatGPT validated 3 dead markets in a row

I'm Oleg. 20 years shipping ventures across FMCG, fintech, and Web3. Sold three. Killed dozens.

The killed ones all died for the same reason — but the reason changed shape over time.

Pre-GPT (2005-2022): Gut feeling. I'd find a market that felt underserved, build for 6-12 months, then watch it land in front of an audience that didn't actually want it. Wrong markets, wrong timing, wrong conclusions.

Post-GPT (2023-now): I asked ChatGPT if the idea was good. ChatGPT said yes. I built. The market still said no.

The thing I didn't catch until killing 3 ideas in a row: LLMs pull validation signal from press releases — which lag the real market by 18+ months. I was getting confident "yes"es from a model trained on data that was already ancient by the time I asked.

New tool, same theater.

What Fluenta does

Fluenta is the tool I wished existed back then. It scans 200+ live sources every day:

- VC deals (Crunchbase)

- Reddit pain threads (founder distress signal)

- Search-volume trends (DataForSEO + Trends)

- Capterra reviews (competitor density)

- Hiring patterns (urgency markers)

- Money signals (AppSumo, Upwork, Acquire)

Then it scores any startup idea on a 0-100 Launch Readiness Score across six quantified market signals: search demand, social pain, competition density, money signal, funding momentum, urgency triggers.

No "AI says it's promising." Just sourced numbers, refreshed daily.

The team

Built by a small core team of four. I'm full-time on Fluenta; three teammates work evenings and weekends across backend, frontend, and the agent layer.

Stack is polyglot because the work is: Go for the backend, Next.js + TypeScript on the front, Python for the agent and pipeline layer. Synthesis runs across OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and Gemini — different models for different signal types. 25+ data integrations behind it (full inventory at fluenta.space/help). Stripe, PostgreSQL, Redis, S3 underneath.

No outside investment, no exit clock.
