Why I Built ScreenerHub

ScreenerHub started from my own frustration. As a finance professional with years of investing experience, I wanted to find stocks in a structured way and then track them automatically over the long term: without wrestling with overwhelming, expensive pro-trading tools built for day traders, not long-term investors like me.

I shared the problem with Michael, my co-founder and a software architect, who was instantly hooked on solving it technically: even though he was just getting started with investing himself at the time. That combination turned out to be exactly what the product needed: someone who deeply understood what investors actually want, and someone who could turn it into something robust, fast, and genuinely simple to use.

I'm not building ScreenerHub for a hypothetical user, I'm building the tool I want to use myself every day: reliable, intuitive, and accessible whether you're a finance professional or picking your first stock.

The founder-user combination is compelling here. Curious whether the product is resonating more with finance professionals or newer long-term investors so far.

Honestly? So far it's 100% free users, about 40 sign-ups since April 21st, but no paying customers yet. So the your question is still ahead of me in a way :)

Would love your take: from what you've seen, what makes users hesitate to pay for my tool? Is it trust in the data, bad landing page, missing features, or just habit of using established tools like Yahoo Finance / TradingView / ....?

That’s exactly the kind of question I’d rather discuss privately than guess at publicly. Would you be open to sharing the best email to reach you on?

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.
