Why I built SendaSong

Today I’m launching SendaSong, a simple product that lets people send a song with a personal message.

I started building it because music already says what people often struggle to put into words. A normal text can feel forgettable, but a song carries emotion instantly. I wanted to create a simple way for anyone to send something more personal for moments like love, apology, gratitude, birthdays, and memories.

This is still early, and I’d really love feedback from the Indie Hackers community.

A few things I’d love input on:

  • Is the idea instantly clear?

  • Does the homepage explain the value well enough?

  • What is the first use case that comes to mind for you?

  • Would you use something like this, or send it to someone?

Would appreciate any honest feedback on the product, positioning, and overall experience.
