Why I built Telegram Grupos to make Telegram communities easier to discover
Telegram has thousands of groups and channels, but discovering relevant communities is often harder than it should be. I built Telegram Grupos, a Brazilian directory that organizes Telegram groups and channels by category, helping people find communities for friendship, study, work, business, entertainment and more.
The goal is to make discovery easier for users and give group owners a structured way to reach new members. I’m sharing the project to learn what features, filters and categories would make the directory more useful. Feedback is welcome: https://www.telegram-grupos.com/
The interesting challenge isn't helping people find more Telegram groups—it's becoming the place where they expect to discover the highest-quality communities. I'd keep validating whether users return because of the size of the directory or because they consistently find communities worth joining.
