Why I could not succeed with this app?

Hello everyone,

Almost a year ago, my partner and I released this application, for Android and IOS platforms.

This application allows users to chat with nearby people. We are creating nearby places it is really useful places. Let instance you are sitting one of Starbucks while you drinking your coffee chatting with people as anonymously, also if you don't have a valuable place your nearby you can chat global topics as well. That's the basic app idea. There is no private messaging, it was in to do if we being succeeded. But nothing happened, we just reach a couple of thousand users in the past year.

I can say one more thing for failing the app I don't believe we do necessary advertising/campaign. Because we don't have the necessary capital to create a campaign.
