Why I Ditched Google Analytics and Actually Slept Better

I was 21, launching my first blog, and felt powerful watching real-time stats on Google Analytics.

Then came cookie banners. Privacy disclaimers.

And awkward moments like explaining to my mom why she had to accept tracking just to read my blog.

I turned analytics off — until I found Plausible.

No cookies.

No personal data.

No tracking.

Just:
✅ Who’s reading
✅ Where they’re from
✅ What’s landing

It’s not free — $9/month — but the peace of mind (and faster load times) is worth it.
Plus, I sleep better knowing I’m not being creepy.
