Why I launched Code Jabba

Hi, I'm Liam Mccluskey and I'm the founder of Code Jabba, a job board for software engineers with over 10 job filters.

I decided to create Code Jabba because I got tired of browsing jobs on LinkedIn and Glassdoor where I had to read long job descriptions only to find that the job requires experience with a tech stack I haven't used, or requires more years of experience than I have. Out of this frustration came an idea: what if I could search for jobs by filtering by coding language, skill/framework, seniority level, position type, an salary. That idea became Code Jabba.

Code Jabba is a job board for software engineers that allows you to filter by the following items

• Date posted ( last day / last week / last month )

• Setting ( remote / on-site / hybrid )

• Location ( multiple at a time )

• Employment type ( part-time / internship / full time / contract )

• Position type ( backend / frontend / fullstack / etc. )

• Experience level ( entry / mid / senior / etc. )

• Included coding languages ( javascript / java / etc. )

• Excluded coding languages

• Included skills ( React / Spring boot / etc. )

• Excluded skills

• Minimum yearly salary

• Sponsors visa ( yes / no / possibly )

• Requires security clearance ( yes / no )

With these filters, you can now filter for only software engineering jobs that meet your exact preferences, saving you hours of time when job searching. I just launched last week, so I'm looking for feedback from users on what features they'd like to see added.
