Why I’m building MASAMUNE for small teams that can’t hire AI specialists

I’m building MASAMUNE because I think many small and mid-sized businesses are being left behind by AI.

Large companies can hire AI specialists, build internal workflows, and experiment with new tools. Smaller companies usually cannot. They may understand that AI could help, but they often do not have the people, time, or budget to turn it into repeatable business processes.

MASAMUNE is my attempt to close that gap.

I’m starting with marketing automation because marketing is one of the places where small teams feel the resource problem most clearly. They need to research, plan, create, publish, review, and measure, but often have limited headcount.

The goal is not just to generate content. The goal is to help small teams run an actual marketing workflow with AI support, without needing to hire dedicated AI talent or connect many tools manually.

Right now, I’m trying to validate a few questions:

1. Do small teams see AI adoption as a workflow problem, not just a tool problem?

2. Is marketing automation the right first wedge?

3. What parts of the workflow are most painful: research, planning, content creation, review, publishing, or measurement?

If you run or work with a small team, I’d be curious:

Where do you currently get stuck when trying to use AI in real business workflows?
