Why I’m Building PropAIdir: An AI Tools Directory for Real Estate

I’m building PropAIdir, a directory for discovering AI tools built for real estate professionals.

The idea came from a simple problem: AI is moving fast, but real estate professionals often don’t have time to search through hundreds of general AI tools to find what actually helps their work.
Real estate has many workflows where AI can create real value: property research, listing descriptions, market analysis, lead generation, valuation support, customer communication, document review, interior design, property marketing, and investment analysis.
But most AI tools are not organized around real estate use cases. They are scattered across the internet, mixed with tools for writing, coding, design, marketing, and everything else.
That’s why I started PropAIdir.
The goal is to make it easier for agents, brokers, investors, property managers, developers, and real estate founders to discover practical AI tools that can save time, improve decisions, and help them work smarter.
PropAIdir exists because I believe the next wave of AI adoption will be industry-specific. People don’t just want “AI tools.” They want tools that understand their market, their workflow, and their daily problems.
For real estate, that means tools that can help with:
Creating better property listings
Understanding local market trends
Managing leads and client communication
Producing visual marketing assets
Supporting investment and valuation decisions
Automating repetitive administrative work
Improving the buyer, renter, and seller experience
I’m still early in the journey, but my long-term vision is to make PropAIdir a focused AI resource hub for the real estate industry.
Not just another directory, but a place where real estate professionals can quickly find relevant tools, understand how they are used, and discover new ways to apply AI in their business.
I’m especially interested in the intersection of vertical AI and traditional industries. Real estate is a huge, practical, relationship-driven industry, and I think AI can help without replacing the human trust at the center of it.
