Why I made Cat Paws 🐾

Hi Product Hunt! 👋

I'm an indie developer and I wanted to make something completely unnecessary… but hopefully delightful. 😸

Our phones constantly interrupt us with notifications, messages, news and reminders.

So I thought:

What if a phone could interrupt you with a cat instead?

That's how Cat Paws was born.

There is no complicated game, productivity system or big purpose behind it. A random cat paw simply runs across your screen, you hear a little meow, and for a second your phone becomes a little more fun.

I'm especially curious to hear what you think:

🐾 Is this the kind of tiny surprise you'd keep on your phone?

😻 Which cat should we add next?

And most importantly:

Would you want your phone to be randomly invaded by cats?
