Why I saw an opportunity to build a job board for non-tech roles in Web3

The first answer would be that I got to know my personas quite well. I was one myself (recruiter/company side) and before building the site, I led a few discovery calls to know more about candidates to know where they hang out, their struggles as job seekers, etc.

Then, I figured you attract companies with: good traffic numbers (= reach), good testimonials (=trust), and sexy visibility (=if your competitor lists jobs there, I want to do it too). So there lies the plan ;)

I focused on increasing traffic first by delivering job seekers value every day (sharing handpicked non-tech jobs in Web3 on Twitter and LinkedIn - consistency is key there), tagging companies every time, and getting testimonials from candidates who relied on my site. I don’t ask anything from the company's side at this stage, but this way I’m showing signs of quality and success.

Then companies either come to you, or you can reach out by delivering them value as well (showcasing one role for free, and another with a discount etc). I don’t think you need crazy traffic numbers, to get first your clients. You just need to be consistent, and show you’re growing!
