Hi everyone 👋
For the past few months I've been building Sangam.
At first glance it looks like another community platform.
But the more I looked at existing social platforms, the more I felt the same problem kept appearing:
We follow people instead of goals.
We consume content instead of building together.
We discover creators, but rarely collaborators.
I kept asking myself:
What if people connected because they're trying to achieve the same thing?
Not because they have the biggest audience.
Not because they post every day.
Not because an algorithm decided so.
That's why I started building Sangam.
The idea is simple:
Instead of joining endless feeds, you join around a goal.
Examples:
Build an AI startup
Learn Machine Learning
Find a SaaS co-founder
Launch your first product
Become a better designer
The platform then helps you discover people with similar interests and goals.
The end goal isn't more scrolling.
It's more collaboration.
We're still early and there are lots of things to improve.
I'd genuinely love feedback from founders here.
One question:
If you were looking for collaborators online today, what is the biggest frustration you face?
I'd really appreciate your thoughts.
I like the shift from identity-based communities to goal-based ones.
Following the same creator doesn't necessarily mean people can help each other. Sharing the same objective creates a much stronger reason to collaborate.
