Why Is Sharing Content So Scary? And How Do You Deal With It?

It's a mental hurdle I think many people have either broken through or shied away from.

Seeing as I'm now about to take the plunge and build in public AHHH. I'd love to share my thoughts and hear from you as well.

1/5 - Fear of not being worthy: “What I share is not significant/impactful/of note or interest enough”.

The pressure to share impactful information stops us in our tracks before we even start.

2/5 Fear of not belonging: “Creating and sharing content feels so unnatural to me. I guess I’m not cut out for it.”

The self belief that you aren't born with or haven't developed the skillset to put content out into the world.

3/5 Fear of failure: "What’s the point of starting it when I know it won’t go anywhere".

This belief that theres no point to start the journey of content creation as it won't succeed to your expectations.

4/5 Fear of introspection/vulnerability: "I don’t want to think about it"

The fear to self analyze and self explore (usually due to self-harming thoughts that already persist. Self critism, negativity, depression etc.)

5/5 Fear of judgement: "What if they people say hurtful things about me".

The fear of what others will say and/or think about you based off your content.

I'd love to know. 1) What barriers did you experience when you started off 2) How did you get over them?
