I've read so much about how to assemble an MVP and launch it that I thought it'd be easy. After stealth launching the MVP of my calendar app and getting some feedback for the last few weeks, I was really surprised.
The hardest part actually wasn't restricting the scope or getting feedback from users -- it was promoting something I'm not stoked about. I know the quality could (and will) be so much better, so I felt guilty for encouraging people to use it in its current state of mediocrity.
That said, it's a big relief to have it 'out there.' I'm looking forward to worrying less about whether the MVP is "ready" and focusing more on getting revenue.
My full breakdown of my MVP is in my latest YouTube video 👇
I hope you mean minimum viable product and congratulations on getting something out there keep up the good work seeing results should help reinvigorate you
Thanks Clateman! Yeah, it's a great source of motivation for sure
I'm literally in the same boat. Just this morning I received a notification from the Apple App Store that my app was finally approved for release and I felt a sense of relief when it was finally there. However, I'm not 100% happy with the current state in contrast to what I had in my mind but somehow you had to "sell it" to potential users. However, like you, I'm just happy its out there so I can focus on improving the product, market it and iterate on features that matters. It's a good think you got an MVP out there so you can finally work on improving it and building MRR rather than working towards a release.
Congrats on getting into the App Store! Hear that can be quite the journey as well. Cheers to getting something out there, despite imperfections 🎉
Good luck with your project. And congrats on the launch🤘
Thanks Tyokunbo!
The design is pretty simple but I like it! Congrats on the launch and nice looking MVP!
