Why most people are approaching Twitter all wrong

I've been building a SaaS to help creators/indie hackers get more Twitter followers in an opinionated way. I'm hoping my advantage is that I'm building an authentic app and I actually grew my own following in less than a year.

My idea is that most twitter apps get it all wrong. Based on my own experience building my Twitter following, and after interviewing large Twitter accounts, they never used the features that Twitter apps are building. They didn't rely on scheduling, or auto retweets. They focused on real connections and quality engagements.
