Why most side projects never see the light of day

I noticed a pattern: every time I started a side project, it got stuck in “planning mode.” The idea felt good, the vision was clear, but by the time I had something to show, my energy had evaporated.

I built ShipAhead to change that. Not to make a “better boilerplate,” but to turn ideas into live experiments before motivation runs out.

The result was simple but profound. I shipped more, learned faster, and stopped wasting weeks on things that would never leave drafts.

For anyone whose ideas keep stalling, shipping fast isn’t just convenient. It’s the difference between failure and actually learning what works.
