Calculating take-home pay for shift-based work is surprisingly broken.
Standard salary tools completely drop the ball when handling rotating shift patterns, variable overtime multipliers and night/weekend pay differentials. Most workers end up tracking their earnings in chaotic, manual spreadsheets.
To fix this, I built Shift Roster Pay (https://shiftrosterpay.com) — a free web utility designed to accurately model complex roster schedules, overtime rates and differential pay in seconds.
