Why subscriptions are out and refills are in

I'm a huge fan of this model. Customers/users are sick of being tied into subscriptions they no longer want or need. Everything from subscriptions to software services to gym memberships. There is no need to force customers to stay with you. Refills feel a lot more customer-focused and therefore, actually make the user want to use the service.
100% agree with this model. I think this is what I've been looking for. Thanks for putting it into words and actually tested it out and done it.
I am going to implement this on, jamstacker.studio I liked it a lot. I don't like subscriptions either, if you have any tip, wuld mean wonders.
Thank you!
I really like this idea and have been considering doing it on Bear Blog for a while now. It's super simple to implement and I think more attractive to consumers as it has cancellation-by-default, or opt-in payments only (depending on how you phrase it).
Ohh, I like this. I am currently having subscriptions on my productized studio...and honestly, I dislike it alot.
Why? Because I Don't like subscriptions either...
...I wonder if this would work. I could probably adapt this...
Businesses will move to this model only if forced through intense competition. I think most every SaaS would lose massive amounts of revenue if they switched to this.
This feels like it would work for B2C but not necessarily B2B. Interested to see if any B2B founders use this model.
