Great idea, the hard part is gonna be getting podcasters in on the idea
yeah, that's true. My plan is to offer it to a handful of popular podcasts for free and hope that it proliferates from there. But I'm also grateful for any ideas.
Interesting idea! I like the UI of the avatars on the audio waveform, which looks inspired from Soundcloud. I'm actually surprised Soundcloud doesn't promote podcast commenting more. (I just tried it on a podcast episode there and found you can comment just like regular tracks.)
One quick note: when browsing podbabble.com in Firefox on Mac, it doesn't render very well. There's a massive "X" icon in the top-left of the page and the nav bar takes up half the vertical height.
