I built a timeline tool because I couldn't find one that didn't suck
Every timeline tool I tried was either locked inside Notion, looked like a school project, or made me fight the layout just to add an event.
So I spent my weekends building TimelineX — a clean, visual canvas for building and sharing timelines. Careers, roadmaps, company histories, family stories. Whatever's worth remembering.
The thing I'm most proud of: timelines are proportional to real time. A 10-year gap actually looks like 10 years. Sounds obvious, but almost no tool does this.
It's free to start. Would love to hear from anyone who's tried to solve this problem before — what made you give up on existing tools?
