Why won't anyone on Mac pay $3.99 for peaceful monitoring?

Quick story: spent a month and $191.73 on Reddit/LinkedIn/Google ads. Result? 23 installs, 1 paying customer - my mom.

I think the issue is twofold.
1. I think you are assuming that everyone will understand that it will be monitoring logs and making sure your API endpoints are working correctly. For the first half of the post, I assumed it was blocking notifications from showing up on my screen and was peacefully telling me Hey, you have notifications to read.
2. If my APi is down, I want an in-your-face message saying, Hey, your API is broken. You need to go fix it now.

You hit the core issue - when production is down, most people WANT to be interrupted. The whole "peaceful monitoring" goes against that instinct.
The lighthouse actually works like ancient beacon fires - it's always glowing when things are good, and you notice when it goes dark. But I get it, that's the opposite of what people expect from monitoring.
I'm realizing this might work better for non-critical stuff: dev environments, side projects, or as a secondary indicator when you already have PagerDuty screaming at you. I'll add normal alerts too for the critical stuff - push notifications, groupping, priorities, etc. Lumenator will get an optional "zen mode" for when you want awareness without anxiety.
Do you think there's ANY use case where you'd want calm visual monitoring? Or is this approach just too different from what people need?
Not to build your pivot for you, but I could see a world where someone is doing focused work and they want to be notified only by x notifications. you could use the lighthouse to notify them peacefully that hey your dedicated apps are trying to notify you but I think it needs to be smaller and tucked in a corner.
Let me make sure I understand - you're suggesting a Mac notification manager? Like blocking system notifications (Slack, email, etc) during focus time and showing them peacefully through the lighthouse instead?
That would be a totally different product from what I built (server monitoring with Alertmanager integration, planning to add PagerDuty and more check types), but interesting idea! Would need different tech though - accessibility APIs, notification interception.
Did I get your idea right? Or were you thinking something else?
