Hi,
I'm the creator of indiebrands.io and want to know why you or someone else WOULDN'T buy something on my site.
- Do you have difficulties understanding the offering?
- Are you not satisfied with the offering?
- Are you not interested in the product? If not, just now or in general?
- Are you not trusting the site?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
Offering isn't clear. Like Anilkilic mentioned, I wasn't sure if you're selling the domain+logo or just domain or the logo till I click it open. I would suggest adding a hero section instead of the items directly.
Lack of pricing diversity: The options aren't as many. The ones that exist are all homogenous. Similarly priced. On average the prices are $390, premium is $420 or so... Does that mean the premium is only of 30$?
What users are you expecting? If I've a business idea, the first thing I would do is secure a domain name (my hypothesis is that this is common user behaviour). And the availability of these domain names can easily be checked on any provider sites, like GoDaddy, etc. So I wouldn't come to your site specifically. If I should come, you atleast offer me a chance to search using words relevant for my business. Namemesh does the same.
Right now, the ideal customer for you is someone who has an idea and happens to come across your site, stumbles on a domain name that connects with their idea and has the lack of patience (to not search alternate domains, i.e., splendly.app, splendly.work instead of splendly.io that you offer) and purchases it. And I feel that might be narrowing down your potential users a lot!
You should definitely add a parked domain "marketing page" for all these domains you hoarded.
My view:
It was not clear to me what you're selling. No text on the homepage, no tag line in the header, no text when I hover over an item.
I have no idea why I'd choose one item over the others nor why some are worth $690 while others are worth $190. (For example spendly.io and essential.so look similar in quality)
On the page of an item, the button says "secure the domain", it's not clear that I'm not just buying the domain but also the logo.
The website is beautiful, the logos are beautiful. I'd definitely buy a logo or the design of a website from you
Some issues:
Hi Laurids,
To be honest, I feel that your service is quite pricey. I think your niche is no coders that do not really know how to set all this up, so I believe that maybe offering an additional service like a single page website for their product might be fruitful.
Please, take my response with a pinch of salt as I am really new to this. Good luck!
I was confused about what you're selling. I thought it was something to do with merchandise. After looking at the domain names, I'm thinking this is probably what is being sold.
Then, I see a switch that switches between "On White" and "On Black" and when I try that I see the color changing from white to black. Since it doesnt look like a dark mode switch and since domains dont have anything to do with the colors, I'm now assuming that that product is probably a graphic or logo or a bundle.
