Why you lose money as a creator?

Mint City wants to answer a core creator economy question.
Am I losing money and how can I stop it?

As an example, a creator wants to drive more Youtube subscribers to support them on Patreon.

Mint City would provide a dashboard and tooling to help them find these subscribers and specifically engage them. We would also provide dashboards to keep track of this growth.

It acts as a single interface to answer this question for common websites like Youtube, Patreon, and Spotify. You don't have to go to each website or keep a separate spreadsheet to keep track of your growth.

I am confused, can you give an example of how a content creator loses money? And how to stop it?

@JHercules thanks for the reply. It means a lot. As an example, a creator wants to drive more Youtube(or another platform) subscribers to support them on Patreon or other defined subscriptions platform.

Mint City would provide a dashboard and tooling to help them find these subscribers and specifically engage them. We would also provide dashboards to keep track of this growth.

I would appreciate any feedback. This is an early-stage idea.

Great, I understand what you are doing much better now! Sounds like a good idea - find your most engaged users on the "free" channels, start a conversation that leads to them becoming a Patreon supporter.

If your content creators need a safe "address" to engage with their subscribers, we've built something at ContactLink that might help.

They can give a link that lets them have a video call / text message / secure email / voice call with their subscribers, without giving out their phone number or email address. They can always cancel the link later if they want to end the conversation.

I can get you a coupon to try it free - contact me through our site www.ContactLink.com and mention IndieHackers and Mint City.

Based on your feedback I am going to edit the post to reflect this updated thinking.
