Why you might not want to launch on the weekend (lesson learned)

This is a story how I wanted to launch my book in Early Access and almost didn't.

I wanted to update the book's website, Efficient Developer and send an update to my email list. The problems started when I couldn't connect to my website server to update it. I though, okay, I will just write to support to resolve it, they are always helpful. And then I realized it is a weekend! Nobody will help me now.

So I changed my plans to just send the update. After all, the Gumroad page is separate and people still can come and see the offer. So I prepared everything and went to send the email. But Sendinblue stopped me, saying that they need to review my account first. And guess what? They "usually review accounts in one business day". Fortunately, my email list is small and it is not that big of a deal to delay it.

In the end, the FTP server started to work (the email to the support still without an answer) and Sendinblue reviewed the account despite their "one business day" promise.

But I have learned something from it. When problems arise, there is less of a chance that somebody will help you over the weekend.
