Firefox isn't only geared towards privacy but is also optimized for performance.
Sure, Chrome's market share is greater but Firefox is the only non-chromium open source alternative.

I only have good wishes for Firefox, but the trajectory doesn't look good.

I see what you mean. Although, I'm a fan of both; the crypto push by Brave can become off-putting at times. Sure, they'd like to stand tall when it's the Web 3.0 boom and it's a good vision of the future. But they have to take it slow.
