Why you should never rely on 1 marketing channel

Hey IH, I'm moyo the founder of voice (we help people Navigate the DAO Space)

We launched about 2 months ago and have been seeing steady growth, The biggest marketing channel for us has been content marketing on reddit.

Like i write educational content about 2 to 3 times weekly and post it on 5 different subreddits, this brings in people every time, until recently I noticed that my last 3 Content went in the dust.

I was wondering why? was the content trash? which was what i believed after the first 2 didn't do well, so i wrote another one studying what has been doing well on the various subreddits, then shared it on the subreddits and on some discord servers

Did quite well on the servers (the expected average) but again nothing on reddit not even one upvote. At this point i was already getting the "am i shadow banned?" feeling
So i decided to post my best performing blogpost to the subreddits (initially posted a month earlier). Exactly the same thing

Using the r/shadowbanned subreddit i discovered i was shadow banned, that way reddit marketing has probably just been thrown out the window.

Reddit is (or was) my 3rd highest traffic source and had the 2nd highest retention source.
Now i have to find a new way to do content marketing without reddit, should be fun to figure out. If you got other ideas feel free to comment below (i'll really appreciate)

Also i didn't spam, every content was purely educational and just added a link to voice where necessary (max 3-5 times) and once at the bottom of the post.

Summary of the story? There's a lot of talk about the reach on FB, twitter and the likes but Reddit might also be catching on and reducing reach of content with links (maybe)
