The app that sorts automation of web-scraping out for the citizen will be a future dropbox app. Citizen context is king. Like with the cloud data storage space, many apps, came after, but dropbox has held on. Citizens will increase use of web scraping and will want to store in the local browser db (not cloud). Like Distill.io in old days where you can run any web alert for free from your browser. Cloud storage pays and suits more advanced scraping.

Fm, the early birds in this space (Octoparse, Parsehub etc) have missed the boat. These app I tested for a while with other SMEs and eventually gave up. They are not citizen contextual. They are technical contextual attempting to be a citizen. Worse they utilize old style annoying marketing tactics that errk citizens and so they become annoyed WOM-ers.

Opportunity still exists in this niche.
