    Hi @RobertoBagio,

I like you clean and simple UI, your idea is very good too. If executed well it could help a lot of startup founders, developers etc.

    All the best.

Hi! Thanks a lot for your feedback. :)

It's really clean an simple. I got exactly what you are about. I think you've got a great idea too.

    Best of luck.

Hi Cheery! Thanks a lot for your feedback! :)

    1. The concept of the website is clear enough even upfront. Which is good.

    2. I just think you are wasting space with the big "tree" image on the right. It does not convey what you do.

    3. The text size could be a bit bigger just above the "Get Started". Or maybe it is just the ratio of image to text that makes me say that.

BTW, loved Roberto Baggio in the '98 world cup :) (yup, I have too many grey hair)

I will be posting soon to get some feedback on my home page. Will appreciate your feedback.

          Hi! Here is my feedback:

          1. I love the yellow header, looks very nice and clean
          2. Carousel at the end does not work that well, I would use diffrent pictures, you have pictures with text and then you have text on Carousel, so its a bit confusing
          3. The idea behind is good, would show up what you can offer more compare to other companies like you.
          1. 1

Thank you for your comments. The carousel is definitely going. Will think about the comparison bit. Good idea.

It looks really clean, I really like it. The logo is great. It very clearly shows the two user groups (idea & dev) and clear CTAs.
The best negative feedback I can come up with is that the copyright at the bottom still says 2019.
It also just occurred to me, having just read someone else's post on what makes a good logo, that the favicon of your site is a little hard to see what it is when the logo is that small. For the favicon it'd look really cool if it were just 1 tree of the forest, IMO.

    My UI:
I'm currently doing a pretty big UI change and would love some early feedback:

Note, the menu is now dark blue with white text. My wife said it makes it clearer where the user should focus their attention:

Any input on mine would be very much appreciated, I now have a great deal of respect for your design eye.

Hi Simon! First of all thanks a lot for your feedback. I appreciate it!
What is the project about? I am not sure if i understand so I can give you valuable feed back :)
      Thanks a lot again.

But from the first look the left nav bar looks very nice and clean. I like the way it dividing the page.
You should look at some new fonts, I would use some of the modern font family which are used widely across the websites around.
Also position of for example section: API to Add Data and Authentication API is a bit weird. Shouldn't that be right by each other?

Thank you so much for taking the time Roberto!

The Lakebed app builds data lakes (like a data warehouse) for orgs to easily store data from many places. It's a server app that the customer org installs on the server of their choice. So as an example, the other day I dropped in CSV's from Google Analytics, downloaded weather data, and sample retail sales data. So, in 1 day without writing a single line of code I built a database out of 3 CSV files and then using a BI tool I build a visual dashboard comparing those metrics. Amazon AWS currently brags that a developer can have a data lake running and populated in 1 week.

So, buy decision maker is likely CTO, CEO, or IT manager. There are many users from data owners (marketing, accounting, HR, production, etc) and BI analysts and/or developers to use the data.

Is that enough info? I'll certainly look into new/different/better fonts. Part of the design of Lakebed is that it can run on an air-gapped, offline server. As a result I don't want to be 100% reliant on online fonts.

        Thanks again!

Hi! Sounds interesting, I am actually former BI developer. So do uders stand the topic. My opinion is, you need some slack design. Something simple and slick.
You should look at some example how to build landing pages. I can give you some links and advice if you are interested. I was doing whole long research and iteration before I did mine landing page. And its still not done yet.

You are targeting devs and ones who wants to start something? Why are you limiting yourself? If you don't plan to monetize it it is ok. Otherwise it is hard to see a huge traffic

    1. 1

Hi @Tiltforindie I am focusing on those two groups because that's what I understand most of and I know I can help. I do wanna monetize in the future and that will go from dev. But the platform for those two groups will be free in the future.
What is your suggestions? I am not building a platform like Fiverr or UpWork, if that's in your mind.
      Thanks for your questions!

Looks clean - where did you get your images from and what UI/UX software do you use?

Also, because your service is completely free, are you going to create a company for this project?

    1. 1

Hi @KongSharp the UI/UX is created with help of my friend. I had ideas he had a design skill. All of the images and illustrations are custom made.
      Have a good one :)

Hi @xtbhyn, sorry for late answer I wanted to give you good feedback.
First of all thank a lot for valuable feedback! I appreciate it a lot.

Love to hear that you like it, just hit me pm or write me message and we can discuss. You can be part of it, would be great!

      So this is my thoughts:

      1. I like the color combination and whole visual
      2. In terms of responsivity: I found not very good solution to use horizontal scroll your section.
      • its not intuitive
      • if you wanna keep it but you need to add some arrow or CTA button so people realize that they can scroll right
      1. there is maybe too much space between vertical sections, so its a lot of empty space
      2. maybe you should have some call to action at the beginning of the page.
      3. maybe write at the beginning how to use it and what to do for it

      The idea looks good!

      Robert
