Will you pay $12 monthly for accessing a library of 1000+ well-crafted UI elements ready for UI design?

I've just started a new design library based on styled and attentively polished Figma iOS components. Will you pay $12 monthly for accessing a library of 1000+ well-crafted UI elements ready for hi-fi prototyping in Figma? There will be not only native iOS items but restyled as well. And the guidelines how to build layouts will be onboarded.

This design library is one of the bestselling.

Sure! I'll give you a try for only 12 bucks for a month
You're welcome to grab all the library with 2000+ components manually :))
This hassle really worths $12 then you're free to cancel.

Unless you have a large library like UI8.net or DesignModo, paying subscription for a UI kit doesn't make sense.

Just like others I'd suggest a single download and a single payment. $12 for 1,200 elements.
Perhaps even creating collections that you know people want to buy together, $5 for 300 of X... or $5 for 300 of Y... all together $12 for 1,200 ends up being a steal.

And to give you a bit more work but also make it easy for people to get into what you're doing, offer 10 for free, get their email and ping them once a month with new elements you're adding, or new collections you've made available. include a big button that says $12 to buy all of them.

A newsletter write myself, I'd suggest putting together 3-5 a week for free and sending those out as a newsletter. then a big button linking to your $12 for 1,200!

I'd validate thusly: if 100 people buy it... start creating another collection. 2.0... and if you find that you can release 300 monthly, or 500 monthly... then charge $12 per month for people to get every item every month. but I'd do it once I sold 100 for $12 each.
that should give you enough cash to invest in something like Podia... or someone to help with marketing for a few months.

Monthly? Nope. Definitely not. Maybe $30 / $50 in all. But not monthly.

Maybe you should think about a total price. Or you say that at least XY examples are added every month.

$12 is probably a little high. (Although I don't develop so I wouldn't use it at all.) But, in general, look at comparable values. It costs $59 per month to access Adobe's entire Creative Suite. Is your collection of components worth 1/5 of an Adobe license? Is it worth more than a Spotify subscription?

In the past, I've paid more for less and if you catch me at the right moment I might still buy something that doesn't have a solid relative value. But I think $5 is closer to the "impulse" buy point.

Btw, you can test to sell them in gumroad..

Probably, I would not as solo maker. But maybe web dev agency without a UI or!/and UX designers could do it.

But, taking into account the 12 bucks a month..you should provide sonething more.

Is just my opinion, not a fact.

      The same components in code?

      1. 1

Yes please. A subscription seems odd, but if these were styled for, say, React Native, I'd be all over it.

      2. 1

For example. Yeah. But that is Figma doing it for you +-...

        Maybe "how to's" ...

With the existence of iconMonstr and other free resources, I find it hard to pay for such a resource tbh.

This is how 99% of ideas become dead before a validation :)))
