WizChat, GPT-3 for Slack.

Hello fellow hackers,

I'm a Software Engineer by trade and a long-time lurker here. Like most of the people here, I had my mind blown by GPT-3 and when ChatGPT came out, All I could think was that I could've made this in Slack. Well, I did and I'm proud of my first SaaS, Wiz.chat

I'm very new to marketing (I haven't marketed anything besides my mother's cooking), So I asked WIzchat itself on how to market a slack app and it had these 10 great points:

1. Leverage influencers: Reach out to influencers in the tech space and offer them free access to your app in exchange for a review or a shoutout.
2. Create a referral program: Offer incentives to users who refer their friends to your app.
3. Leverage user-generated content: Ask your users to share their experiences with your app on social media.
4. Run a contest: Create a contest and offer prizes to the winners.
5. Utilize Slack’s own channels: Post about your app in Slack’s own channels and groups.
6. Leverage Slack’s App Directory: Submit your app to Slack’s App Directory and make sure it’s optimized for maximum visibility.
7. Create a demo video: Create a demo video that showcases the features and benefits of your app.
8. Leverage paid advertising: Utilize paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads to reach a wider audience.
9. Utilize email marketing: Send out emails to your existing users and potential customers to keep them informed about your app.
10. Leverage social media: Post about your app on social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
