I remember seeing an indiehacker post about their service that would manage the process of static site generation from a wordpress CMS on an ongoing basis, but I can no longer find the the post.
The idea would be that you could have your wordpress CMS hosted on a staging domain, continue to publish in the typical way you would, and this tool would scan your site for changes and handling static site generation automatically for you whenever it noticed an update.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Doesn't Gatsby have wordpress source?
https://sitesauce.app/ think that is the one?
What sort of site are you building?
This is the one, thank you!
Right now two options awailable:
Hello @dternyak, we do something similar with our WordPress based headless CMS product.
Basically hiring a GorillaSite plan, we provide you with all the infrastructure to create static sites with the technology you want and then use our headless CMS backend for the dynamic parts you want.
You can call that content through our API with PHP or JavaScript from the frontend.
Is that what you're looking to solve?
Cheers!
PD: Our site is still in Spanish, but you can translate it with Google and everything will be fine. ;)
