Working for a startup is really really hard

I joined a startup in 2019 after a career working at traditional small and large corporate businesses. I always knew I was a hard worker and I all-ways tried to put in the extra effort but working at a startup is another level entirely, in fact, it’s really really hard, it’s fast-paced and it’s nonstop! Literally nonstop.

Over the Christmas break, I’ve been reflecting on the past year and thinking about the advice I recently gave one of my senior developers and thinking I should probably listen to myself.

Take a second to breathe, look at what you have achieved.
