Working on a Gamification as a Service project

I am developing a new SaaS product to provide Gamification as a Service to businesses.
After having searched for such a product for a while, I started building it for myself, and after having used it for myself, I think it's interesting to build a SaaS product around it. So I want to make it available for other bootstrappers and companies.

Leaderboards, badges, unlocking functionalities, and many more features are usually based on scores, and having an API that collects scores of your customers, generates leaderboards, and unlocks functionalities depending on scores seems pretty interesting to me.

What are your thoughts on it? What would you focus on?
Would you start using such a product?

Seems like a fun product to build, I wonder who is your target audience.

      hey @fra13 good question!

I'd say that it can serve businesses at different stages.
At this stage I think that bootstrappers are the right audience. So I can provide a reduced set of features that can be valuable for them.

Pretty sure I've seen at least one product like that around

          Thank you @hatkyinc
I wasn't so naive to think this wasn't already covered by someone, but I think there is still some opportunity to build something cool there.

If you go over your examples, only some of them are giving this kind of service and they don't seem to solve the problem for a bootstrapper wanting to add gamification to their UX.

Happy to know a bit more on this from you!

That was just a shallow search
But can see there are plenty
So you'd probably need to be focused on something ultra specific

I think the same, my idea at the moment is Gamification for bootstrappers, easy and fast to integrate

Really cool idea! I consult businesses in gamification, so I really like to see new SaaS solutions in this field.
