Working on a Gumroad competitor? do taxes well

I occasionally get messages from ppl working on Gumroad competitors.
What they all have in common:
White heavy check mark better design
White heavy check mark lower fees
What they all miss:
Cross mark handling taxes
To me this is Gumroad's real killer feature and why I'm using it instead of Stripe directly.
Happy to update our design! Please provide examples of better designed alternatives so we can improve!
I personally don't use an alternative, but one thing that I find hard to do in Gumroad is copy the custom URL.

Because it is split between item and text field, you can't copy it. A 'click to copy' button would be awesome.

There’s a copy button on the Share tab that’ll do it.
Regarding designs, I am glad you still use Gumroad, but I was asking about all the alternatives you mentioned with “better design” so we can improve on our own UX.

Exactly, it’s 99% of the reason why I use Gumroad.
The other 1% is that initially it was a quick way to upload my product and circumvent having to set up a customer portal myself.

Probably even more so for Europeans where so many of these creator tools do not consider the tax complications we have.
