I built an app to stay productive and I'm using it a lot. Could I get some initial user feedback in regards to its viability, set of features and possible marketing strategies?
I'm a newbie in founding / marketing and I have trouble gathering enough initial feedback.
@moritzroessler - Although I cannot yet participate in your poll, I would be interested in an app to manage lists. I've considered building something myself (and often think about it when I'm grocery shopping or cleaning the house) but haven't sat down to brainstorm what it would look like or who I would market to.
I played around with your /lists app briefly. Login works, lists work, although it's not clear what the checkbox is for with the message "You already completed too many items with 0 points". I would think checking an item which I just added should be supported and the completed items would move to the bottom.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply! I would be very interested in your ideas, so please write them down when you have any.
I'm using it for all things I need to track, todos, counters, expenses, shopping lists, ideas, etc.
I am very sorry for the bug you mentioned. I pushed code yesterday without testing it and it broke completing items (a stupid mistake, but it was very late).
It should work again.
The reason behind the message is that you can assign value points to items to prioritize your work / items. A friends ideas was to gain points by completing items. In order to limit the points one can gather you can only complete a 100 point item once every 90 days, a 0 point item can be completed 1000 times within a day.
This system (although it needs refinements) really helps to prioritize your work and think about the value completing this task has.
