Would anyone be willing to talk about their career?

When I was 16 I remember struggling to pick a career. I'm glad I ended up picking engineering as a career.

I now have nephews and nieces who are in the same position. So to help them I'm speaking to people in my professional network.

After a while the idea came to me that this will be helpful to others. Hence myfirststemjob.com was born.

I do a quick interview and type it up. It takes no longer than 20 minutes and I anonymise everything.
