Would anyone pay for a journaling app with an incredible editor (Markdown) experience?

Hey there!

I've been journaling mostly on pen and paper for the last several years. But it's hard to go back and search for old posts. At the same time, there are so many different places to write and store journal entries digitally; word documents, Notion pages, other wiki apps, etc.

I'm curious if anyone would pay --- and if so, how much? --- for a private journaling web app with an amazing editor experience. Think of rich-text editors like Ghost or Medium that support Markdown syntax.

What kind of features would be must-haves and nice-to-haves? Some of the one that I have in mind include:

• Full-text search
• Privacy-focused (these are personal entries, after all)
• Ability to export entries, no lock-in or anything like that
• Clean, minimalistic UI so that users can focus on writing
