Would creating our app documentation attract non-techy users?

I'm the co-founder of a SaaS product and my team has noticed something.

Only techy people sign up organically and fill their profiles accurately.

We would like to know, "If we create our app documentation, would non-techy users sign up organically or could something else be the matter?"

Please suggest what you think we can do about this.
