Hey everyone,
I would love to hear some feedback on the landing page. Do you understand the problem? Are you convinced that my product solves the problem? Would you pay for it?
My pricing is in Indian Rupee (Stripe doesn't allow transactions in USD unless I register a company (for Indian users)). Does that sound unappealing in any way? Is there a solution for this problem?
I always appreciate the negative feedback. So please don't hold back.
The story:
Almost a month ago, I asked my fellow IH-ers for validation for my product.
You can check it out here -

I received really good feedback regarding the idea - positive and negative both. Above all that, I built really good relationships with a few who reached out to me personally by email regarding Markie, its development and just a few concerns about the bugs they encountered.
I got really good constructive feedback like - "Incorporate import bookmarks", "Increase free plan limits", etc and also brutal feedbacks like - "it just doesn't work" , "it doesn't support videos", "it doesn't support X or Y" - I took all of those into consideration to build what is now a great usable product.
And especially due to one of the comments that "the general public is not very forgiving", building the product pivoted on that notion helped me a lot.
I added support for videos, I built an import bookmark feature (this was really hard), I added support for a lot more pages by improving the parsing logic.
Today, I can say that Markie is nearing its launch. I would like to thank you all for the amazing support.
TL;DR - I asked fellow IH-ers for feedback, I implemented them and now I believe that I have a great usable product.
Hey Akhil,
First of all, I'd like to congratulate you for working on Markie. I like your approach towards product building.
I checked your site, and jotted down my feedback here: https://app.usebubbles.com/dU64FHpqmBGbCxnz4FqP2g/comments-on-getmarkie-com/
Happy to discuss it further if you've any doubts.
Cheers,
Hey Rohit,
Wow! Thank you so much for the detailed feedback. I shall work on them. It helped me see a lot of things with more clarity. Great points, really! I'll let you know once again after I update it (if that's fine with you?).
Cheers,
Akhil
Sure, Akhil!
