Would love to get your thoughts on my podcast forum landingpage.

Hi guys,

I just learned from the IH podcast that this group exists and would love to get your thoughts on the landing page for my side-project (launched earlier this months):

https://podbabble.com/

It's a site where podcast hosts can create discussion forums for their listeners. It's something I made because I really wanted it to exist. I listen to a ton of politics, history and startup podcasts and want to talk about them. But Twitter is too short lived and usually only active briefly when an episode is released and only a few shows have reddit boards.

It'd be great if you could let me know:

  • does it explain well what the product is
  • does it explain the value it brings
  • does it convince you (if you're a podcast host) to try it

Thanks so much :-)

    Hey @wolframhempel
    Great idea and interesting executions.
I personally also struggle to chat with other listeners on a certain podcast episode. Usually, it happens on the host's social media.

In terms of clarity of the Landing, I personally struggled a bit as it seems it's targeted at both end-users (listeners) persona and hosts. Maybe consider tailoring the messaging for hosts first and make a tab or something for others, with benefits. Like the team at Pitch did it:

In terms of design, there are also some rough edges, especially the lack of capitalization of text. it's all lowercase. Also, consider being less heavy-handed on the drop shadows.

ps. You might want to change the cookie request approach. You need to ask not just state if you want to support Europe.

    Good Luck.

Thanks - that is really helpful. I'll get on with the changes straight away. Thanks for taking the time to look through it.
