Would love to hear feedback on our product website?

360Katas is a feedback tool using which we can seek continuous feedback from our co-workers on Slack! Would love to hear your feedback on the design and copy of the landing page (whether we are articulating the use-case well enough, are the CTA clear enough etc.)

hi @nitinshrddy I took a glance at your landing page while I was doing my weekly landing page feedback live-stream today, I tried to give you some honest feedback and I've highlighted a few areas of improvement. I also took some time to do the timestamps in the video description, so it's easy to find! Check it out: https://youtu.be/SxyVsA58c34

Could work with larger organizations, seen several products like this in the past.

In order to get from zero to users, maybe you should focus on the Slack app store. Have you seen similar products in the Slack app store doing successfully?

    1. 1

Thank you so much for your advice! Yes, our primary focus currently is Slack only and we are trying to get to users mostly with our blog, social media posts, and by optimizing our listing in the Slack App Store.

We have seen a few similar products that are getting traction, although they are more in the employee engagement and recognition space! Our focus though is mostly on voluntary and continuous feedback, and what individuals can do for self-improvement based on the feedback they receive!

So you ask 2 people for anonymous feedback, and they believe you won't know who it is, you can usually know who says what by context of what they talk about and/or their write style... anonymous clarification ... :eye-roll:

I don't think you fix the core issues with feedback, I'm not really sure if they are fixable.
I do think it's a cute page that's mostly clear and decent and would probably convert the right people, possibly could think of better top text but it's above avg already "by creating the generosity"..
I do hate corporate American/English/... feedback culture.

Thank you for your feedback. To be honest, I've been getting that a lot about how 2 people is not really anonymous. And I agree that's its easy to guess identities, especially when it's just 2/3 people. But I feel the illusion of anonymity is enough for people to really come forward with honest feedback sometimes!

Also, would love to learn more what you hate about the American/English feedback culture and why you feel it's not fixable. It may give us some ideas on what to focus on!

The contrast is direct f2f X sucked because of Y without all the fluff
or going thru point by point on thing how were they, what was good, bad by each
and just the feeling you can go do that with anyone on anything and you probably don't need to think too much on how they take it, if they be offended, if you need to soften it or append/prepend it....

giving feedback in the E. culture take a lot of time to express things, and as many workers don't have comm. skills writing, feedback and such as a primary skill or want to improve on, it's just a hassle, something they are forced to do and don't want to... you can't get the best out of something somebody doesn't want to do... no confrontations, scared of offending and/or burning bridges, hesitant to express negative things, to bring up issues to talk about concerns... and can't blame them as it's made hard... don't get me wrong there are a lot of good things this creates as well... so I'm appropriating and might prefer it, but it's not conducive to feedback IMHO.
Also unrelated to culture, in a work env. there is a lot of connection to job security, promotions, money, even if you say there would be non, I don't think anyone buys it...
The only thing I find interesting in the area that creates a different frame is totally 3rd party feedback that is hard to organise, lets say you have a personal coach in an area... but it's hard to transfer the content and context from a work event... but psychologist, coaches, trainers that you feel are unrelated to the workplace, can help you hone yourself and improve without fear of work consequences.

Interesting! I actually agree with you on most points. Especially about not being able to extract enough benefit when the feedback process if forced (during performance reviews) and that it gets linked to promotions, bonus etc even if mentioned otherwise!

In fact, we are trying to be the 3rd party feedback tool that you mentioned in your comment, that is completely voluntary (commissioned by individual and not the firm/manager) and de-coupled from performance reviews. But being on Slack, it is also a little difficult to de-couple entirely from the team and the app needs to be added to the workplace.

I was also wondering if you think it makes sense to offer an AI coach or connect to some real (human) coaches to interact with through the product itself to work on the feedback received?

              Got it, thank you! :)
