Would Love Your Feedback on Dropchurn!

Hey all,

Thank you in advance - this project is a brainchild of my interaction with numerous project managers who have complained about the manual nature of their process for interaction with churned users. I threw together this landing page and plan to build this in public, and i'm super excited about the response this has gotten so far!

If you are interested in following along, please feel free to sign up, the email link works!

Here's the link: https://www.dropchurn.io

I was going to include a breakdown of the idea here, but I think part of the value of this feedback from you wonderful people is seeing if the site provides that context sufficiently so that users coming there organically can understand what the platform offers.

Thoughts appreciated, love this project so far and can't wait to see where it goes!

I would try removing the intro, dropping the aquatics and moving the features to the very top. A product manager comes to the site well aware of the problem - just give them a solution.

Saying that, I doubt if your solution addresses the problem. Do you have a proof that it does?

Sending an automated email with some questions to churned customers is proven to be inefficient. Those are either ignored or not answered truthfully.

What works, sometimes, is a genuinely interested human getting in touch and trying to understand customer problems, if the product was a good fit, what made the user churn, what can be done. It's not a sales call. It's a human asking another human for a favour - can I learn from you to better help others?

I stand to be proven wrong, though. Not an expert.

If the above was of value, I'd appreciate your feedback on my product https://www.indiehackers.com/product/open-directory-of-software-developers.

Hey, thanks, here's my response, let me know your thoughts -
I'd like to become a full churn suite at some point in the future. I was thinking part of that process would be one of those emails at cancellation, with a survey and a potential reward, as part of the process, so that cancelled users would be targeted as well.

The reason im pro automation is because however good a PM could be, they cant hit everyone, and im hoping to at least add some firepower to the quantity of people they can reach, and simplify the process at the very least. My plan is also to allow people to turn off the auto email function, so this would serve as an aggregate of churned users in one place and a platform they could use to reach out to individual users as well, which would still save tons of time. So they'd be able to click on the individual user and send them a personalized email just as before, this would just be a one stop shop for them. Thoughts?

I'll take a look at yours at some point today and try to get back to you, i've got the Jewish new year coming up tonight so i might not get to it until Thursday

    Looks good!

Pricing and Plans button doesn't scroll all the way to that section, though...
